This class is the perfect introduction to quilting. You will piece 2 quilt tops, The Rail Fence and The Block Nine Patch, during the 8 weeks. I know it seems like alot but you can do it, I promise! Margie will guide you every step of the way and when you finish, you will feel like your time and money were well spent. I promise!
And...upon completion of this class you will be ready to take many of our one day workshops! Think bags, runners, etc.

This "class" is not a class at all! It is a bit of time set aside, for you to come into the shop, sit for a spell and visit and share with people whom have the same passion for quilting/sewing as you do! How great is that? Come earlly, (10am) Stay Late (4:45pm) and sew. Bring your lunch or eat out, whatever pleases you. If you would like some help, bring a smart friend. Jo will be there to "egg you on" but she will be running around like a chicken with its head cut off, cutting fabric and making the cash register sing and may or may not have an opportunity to instill her supreme wisdom on your project. She may sing or dance or whine, and you can join her but you will be working on your own project, your own way.

This class is a basic introduction to hand embroidery/stitchery. Beginners will learn about tools and methods, preparing fabrics for stitching, how to apply designs and patterns, learn and practice 6 basic embroidery stitches plus many valuable tips on stitching. There are (3) two hour classes. Note: The focus of this class is on technique.
